विज्ञानेष्व अपि चास्त्राणां सौष्ठवे च महाबलः करियास्व अपि च सर्वासु विशेषान अभ्यशिक्षयत ॥ १-२१३-६६ ॥
'Endowed with great strength, the child also gained expertise in neutralizing weapons launched at him by others, as well as remarkable dexterity in swiftly moving forward, backward, sideways, and in circular maneuvers.' ॥ 1-213-66 ॥

'Abhimanyu became as knowledgeable as his father in scriptures and religious rites. Seeing his son, Dhananjaya was filled with joy.' ॥ 1-213-67 ॥

'Abhimanyu grew into a paragon of strength and beauty, his body perfectly proportioned and bearing all the auspicious marks of a great warrior. With his broad shoulders reminiscent of a powerful bull and his fearsome countenance as intimidating as a serpent with its mouth agape, he was truly invincible in appearance and spirit.' ॥ 1-213-68 ॥

'Wielding a large bow, he possessed the strength and majesty of an elephant in rut. His face was as handsome as the full moon.' ॥ 1-213-69 ॥

'Arjuna beheld his son Abhimanyu with immense pride, for the young warrior mirrored Krishna himself in valor, strength, beauty, and form. This sight reminded Arjuna of how Indra must have gazed upon his divine son, seeing in him a reflection of celestial perfection.' ॥ 1-213-70 ॥
