'Balarama, known as the wielder of the plough, presented Arjuna with an ornate anklet, his gesture brimming with joy at their newfound alliance. This act of the elder brother symbolized his warm approval and affection for the union being forged.' ।। 1-213-49 ।।

rAmaH pAdagrAhaNikaM dadau pArthAya lAGgalI parIyamANò haladharaH saMbandha parItima Avahana || 1-213-49 ||
