sanskrit

'The magnificent dowry flowed like a mighty river: a flood of wealth and precious gems, with fine clothes and blankets floating like foam on its surface, great elephants standing tall as fearsome crocodiles, and colorful banners waving like water weeds in the current.' ।। 1-213-50 ।।

english translation

sa mahAdhanaratnaughò vastrakambala phenavAna mahAgajamahAgrAhaH patAkA zaivalAkulaH || 1-213-50 ||
