सत्यकः सात्यकिश चैव भङ्गकारसहाचरौ हार्दिक्यः कृतवर्मा च ये चान्ये नानुकीर्तिताः ॥ १-२११-११ ॥
'Satyaka, Satyaki, Bhangakara, Maharava, Hardikya, Uddhava, and numerous others whose names are not mentioned.' ॥ 1-211-11 ॥
english translation
एते परिवृताः सत्रीभिर गन्धर्वैश च पृथक पृथक तम उत्सवं रैवतके शॊभयां चक्रिरे तदा ॥ १-२११-१२ ॥
'Accompanied by their wives and followed by groups of singers, they adorned that mountain festival.' ॥ 1-211-12 ॥
english translation
तदा कॊलाहले तस्मिन वर्तमाने महाशुभे वासुदेवश च पार्थश च सहितौ परिजग्मतुः ॥ १-२११-१३ ॥
'As the magnificent and delightful festival commenced, Vasudeva and Partha wandered together, observing everything around them.' ॥ 1-211-13 ॥

तत्र चङ्क्रम्यमाणौ तौ वासुदेव सुतां शुभाम अलंकृतां सखीमध्ये भद्रां ददृशतुस तदा ॥ १-२११-१४ ॥
'While wandering there, they spotted Bhadra, the beautiful daughter of Vasudeva, adorned with every ornament, amidst her companions.' ॥ 1-211-14 ॥

दृष्ट्वैव ताम अर्जुनस्य कन्दर्पः समजायत तं तथैकाग्र मनसं कृष्णः पार्थम अलक्षयत ॥ १-२११-१५ ॥
'As soon as Arjuna beheld her, he was seized by the god of desire. Then, O Bharata, Krishna, that lion among men, noticing Arjuna deeply absorbed in contemplation of her.' ॥ 1-211-15 ॥
