उत्कृष्ट एव तु गराहः सॊ ऽरजुनेन यशस्विना बभूव नारी कल्याणी सर्वाभरणभूषिता दीप्यमाना शरिया राजन दिव्यरूपा मनॊरमा ॥ १-२०८-११ ॥
'But as Arjuna, renowned and mighty, dragged the crocodile to land, it transformed into a beautiful maiden adorned with ornaments. O king, that charming damsel, with her celestial form, seemed to shine with beauty and grace.' ॥ 1-208-11 ॥
english translation
तद अद्भुतं महद दृष्ट्वा कुन्तीपुत्रॊ धनंजयः तां सत्रियं परमप्रीत इदं वचनम अब्रवीत ॥ १-२०८-१२ ॥
'Seeing this wonderful sight, Arjuna, the son of Kunti, filled with great affection for that woman, spoke these words:' ॥ 1-208-12 ॥

का वै तवम असि कल्याणि कुतॊ वासि जले चरी किमर्थं च महत पापम इदं कृतवती पुरा ॥ १-२०८-१३ ॥
'Dhananjaya, the son of Kunti, beholding that strange sight, asked the maiden with a gentle heart, "Who are you, O beautiful one? Why were you dwelling in the waters? And why did you commit such a grievous sin?"' ॥ 1-208-13 ॥
english translation
[नारी] अप्सरास्मि महाबाहॊ देवारण्य विचारिणी इष्टा धनपतेर नित्यं वर्गा नाम महाबल ॥ १-२०८-१४ ॥
'The damsel replied, saying, "I am, O mighty-armed one, an Apsara who frolicked in the celestial woods. I am known as Varga, and I am always beloved to the celestial treasurer, Kubera."' ॥ 1-208-14 ॥

मम सख्यश चतस्रॊ ऽनयाः सर्वाः कामगमाः शुभाः ताभिः सार्धं परयातास्मि लॊकपाल निवेशनम ॥ १-२०८-१५ ॥
'I have four other companions, all handsome and capable of traveling everywhere at will. Accompanied by them, one day I was journeying towards the abode of Kuvera.' ॥ 1-208-15 ॥
