का वै तवम असि कल्याणि कुतॊ वासि जले चरी किमर्थं च महत पापम इदं कृतवती पुरा ।। १-२०८-१३ ।।

sanskrit

'Dhananjaya, the son of Kunti, beholding that strange sight, asked the maiden with a gentle heart, "Who are you, O beautiful one? Why were you dwelling in the waters? And why did you commit such a grievous sin?"' ।। 1-208-13 ।।

english translation

kA vai tavama asi kalyANi kutò vAsi jale carI kimarthaM ca mahata pApama idaM kRtavatI purA || 1-208-13 ||
