तेषाम एवं परवृद्धानां सर्वेषाम असुरद्विषाम संभूय सर्वैर अस्माभिः कार्यः सर्वात्मना वधः ॥ १-२०२-११ ॥
' All of us, therefore, mustering together should completely slaughter them off the face of the earth!' ॥ 1-202-11 ॥

एवं सर्वान समादिश्य पूर्वतीरे महॊदधेः करूरां मतिं समास्थाय जग्मतुः सर्वतॊ मुखम ॥ १-२०२-१२ ॥
'Ordering their soldiers thus on the eastern shore of the great ocean, and entertaining such a cruel resolution, the Asura brothers set out in all directions.' ॥ 1-202-12 ॥

यज्ञैर यजन्ते ये के चिद याजनन्ति च ये दविजाः तान सर्वान परसभं दृष्ट्वा बलिनौ जघ्नतुस तदा ॥ १-२०२-१३ ॥
'Having stationed their soldiers on the eastern shore of the vast ocean and resolved with such cruelty, the Asura brothers then departed in all directions.' ॥ 1-202-13 ॥

आश्रमेष्व अग्निहॊत्राणि ऋषीणां भावितात्मनाम गृहीत्वा परक्षिपन्त्य अप्सु विश्रब्धाः सैनिकास तयॊः ॥ १-२०२-१४ ॥
'In the hermitages, they interrupted the offerings of oblations into the sacred fire by the sages who were in deep meditation, thereby causing a commotion among their soldiers.' ॥ 1-202-14 ॥

तपॊधनैश च ये शापाः करुद्धैर उक्ता महात्मभिः नाक्रामन्ति तयॊस ते ऽपि वरदानेन जृम्भतॊः ॥ १-२०२-१५ ॥
'Despite the curses uttered by the revered Rishis in their anger, thwarted by the boons granted by Brahman, they did not affect the Asura brothers.' ॥ 1-202-15 ॥
