तयॊर आगमनं जञात्वा वरदानं च तत परभॊः हित्वा तरिविष्टपं जग्मुर बरह्मलॊकं ततः सुराः ॥ १-२०२-६ ॥
'Aware of their approach and mindful of the boons granted to them by the Supreme Deity, the celestials departed from heaven and sought refuge in the realm of Brahman.' ॥ 1-202-6 ॥
english translation
तान इन्द्रलॊकं निर्जित्य यक्षरक्षॊगणांस तथा खेचराण्य अपि भूतानि जिग्यतुस तीव्रविक्रमौ ॥ १-२०२-७ ॥
'Endowed with formidable prowess, the Daitya heroes swiftly subdued the realm of Indra. They conquered the various tribes of Yakshas, Rakshasas, and every being inhabiting the skies before departing.' ॥ 1-202-7 ॥

अन्तर भूमिगतान नागाञ जित्वा तौ च महासुरौ समुद्रवासिनः सर्वान मलेच्छ जातीन विजिग्यतुः ॥ १-२०२-८ ॥
'Those formidable warriors in chariots then subdued the Nagas dwelling in the nether regions, followed by the inhabitants of the oceans, and thereafter, they conquered all the tribes of the Mlechchhas.' ॥ 1-202-8 ॥

ततः सर्वां महीं जेतुम आरब्धाव उग्रशासनौ सैनिकांश च समाहूय सुतीक्ष्णां वाचम ऊचतुः ॥ १-२०२-९ ॥
'Desirous next of subjugating the whole earth, those heroes of irresistible sway, summoning their soldiers, issued these cruel commands.' ॥ 1-202-9 ॥

राजर्षयॊ महायज्ञैर हव्यकव्यैर दविजातयः तेजॊबलं च देवानां वर्धयन्ति शरियं तथा ॥ १-२०२-१० ॥
'The Brahmanas and royal sages on earth, through their offerings of libations and other sacrificial oblations, enhance the power, strength, and prosperity of the gods.' ॥ 1-202-10 ॥
