अथास्य पश्चाद विदुर आचख्यौ पाण्डवान वृतान सर्वान कुशलिनॊ वीरान पूजितान दरुपदेन च तेषां संबन्धिनश चान्यान बहून बलसमन्वितान ॥ १-१९२-२१ ॥
'It was then that Vidura informed the monarch that Draupadi had chosen the Pandavas as her lords. He assured that all the heroes were alive and well, having been received with great respect by King Drupada.' ॥ 1-192-21 ॥

[धृ] यथैव पाण्डॊः पुत्रास ते तथैवाभ्यधिका मम सेयम अभ्यधिका परीतिर वृद्धिर विदुर मे मता यत ते कुशलिनॊ वीरा मित्रवन्तश च पाण्डवाः ॥ १-१९२-२२ ॥
'Hearing these words from Vidura, Dhritarashtra said, "Those children are as dear to me as they were to Pandu—indeed, even more so now. Listen to me, and I'll tell you why my affection for them has grown. The heroic sons of Pandu are well and at ease."' ॥ 1-192-22 ॥

कॊ हि दरुपदम आसाद्य मित्रं कषत्तः सबान्धवम न बुभूषेद भवेनार्थी गतश्रीर अपि पार्थिवः ॥ १-१९२-२३ ॥
'They have gained many friends. Their relatives and allies are all endowed with great strength. Who among monarchs, whether in prosperity or adversity, would not wish to have Drupada and his relatives as allies?' ॥ 1-192-23 ॥

[वै] तं तथा भाषमाणं तु विदुरः परत्यभाषत नित्यं भवतु ते बुद्धिर एषा राजञ शतं समाः ॥ १-१९२-२४ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, "Hearing these words from the monarch, Vidura replied, 'O King, may your understanding remain steadfast and unchanged for a hundred years!'"' ॥ 1-192-24 ॥

ततॊ दुर्यॊधनश चैव राधेयश च विशां पते धृतराष्ट्रम उपागम्य वचॊ ऽबरूताम इदं तदा ॥ १-१९२-२५ ॥
'After saying this, Vidura returned to his abode. Soon after, O monarch, Duryodhana and Karna, the son of Radha, came to Dhritarashtra.' ॥ 1-192-25 ॥
