गां विन्दता भगवता गॊविन्देनामितौजसा वराहरूपिणा चान्तर विक्षॊभित जलाविलम ॥ १-१९-११ ॥

'The waters were previously stirred due to the commotion caused within them by the Lord Govinda, possessing immeasurable might, as he took on the form of a wild boar to uplift the submerged Earth.' ॥ 1-19-11 ॥

gAM vindatA bhagavatA gòvindenAmitaujasA varAharUpiNA cAntara vikSòbhita jalAvilama ॥ 1-19-11 ॥

बरह्मर्षिणा च तपता वर्षाणां शतम अत्रिणा अनासादित गाधं च पातालतलम अव्ययम ॥ १-१९-१२ ॥

'Its bottom, lower than the nether regions, the vow observing regenerate Rishi Atri could not fathom after (toiling for) a hundred years.' ॥ 1-19-12 ॥

barahmarSiNA ca tapatA varSANAM zatama atriNA anAsAdita gAdhaM ca pAtAlatalama avyayama ॥ 1-19-12 ॥

अध्यात्मयॊगनिद्रां च पद्मनाभस्य सेवतः युगादि कालशयनं विष्णॊर अमिततेजसः ॥ १-१९-१३ ॥

'It becomes the bed of the lotus-navel Vishnu when at the termination of every Yuga that deity of immeasurable power enjoys yoga-nidra, the deep sleep under the spell of spiritual meditation.' ॥ 1-19-13 ॥

वडवामुखदीप्ताग्नेस तॊयहव्यप्रदं शुभम अगाध पारं विस्तीर्णम अप्रमेयं सरित्पतिम ॥ १-१९-१४ ॥

'It is the refuge of Mainaka fearful of falling thunder, and the retreat of the Asuras overcome in fierce encounters.' ॥ 1-19-14 ॥

महानदीभिर बह्वीभिः सपर्धयेव सहस्रशः अभिसार्यमाणम अनिशं ददृशाते महार्णवम ॥ १-१९-१५ ॥

'It offers water as sacrificial butter to the blazing fire issuing from the mouth of Varava (the Ocean-mare). It is fathomless and unlimited, vast and immeasurable, and the lord of rivers.' ॥ 1-19-15 ॥
