अगस्त्यशास्ताम अभितॊ दिशं तु; शिरांसि तेषां कुरुसत्तमानाम कुन्ती पुरस्तात तु बभूव तेषां; कृष्णा तिरश चैव बभूव पत्तः ।। १-१८४-९ ।।

sanskrit

'Then those heroes spread their deer skin and laid themselves to sleep. The foremost of the Kuru princes positioned themselves with their heads towards the south. Kunti lay down along the line of their heads, and Krishna positioned herself along the line of their feet.' ।। 1-184-9 ।।

english translation

agastyazAstAma abhitò dizaM tu; zirAMsi teSAM kurusattamAnAma kuntI purastAta tu babhUva teSAM; kRSNA tiraza caiva babhUva pattaH || 1-184-9 ||
