ततस तु कुन्ती दरुपदात्मजां; ताम उवाच काले वचनं वदान्या अतॊ ऽगरम आदाय कुरुष्व भद्रे; बलिं च विप्राय च देहि भिक्षाम ॥ १-१८४-४ ॥

'Then the kind-hearted Kuntī addressed the daughter of Drupada, saying, "O amiable one, take a portion from this and first offer it to the gods. And then to the Brahmanas.' ॥ 1-184-4 ॥

english translation

tatasa tu kuntI darupadAtmajAM; tAma uvAca kAle vacanaM vadAnyA atò 'garama AdAya kuruSva bhadre; baliM ca viprAya ca dehi bhikSAma ॥ 1-184-4 ॥
