परजॊच्छेदम इमं मह्यं सर्वं सॊमप सत्तम अधर्मिष्ठं वरिष्ठः सन कुरुषे तवं पराशर राजा कल्माषपादश च दिवम आरॊढुम इच्छति ।। १-१७२-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'It is not appropriate for you to destroy creatures in this manner, O child. Such actions do not befit a Brahmana dedicated to asceticism. Peace is the highest virtue. Therefore, O Parasara, establish peace instead. How could you, O Parasara, being so noble, engage in such a sinful practice? It is not fitting for you to go against Saktri himself, who was well-versed in all principles of morality. Nor should you exterminate any creatures. O descendant of Vasishtha's lineage, what happened to your father was due to his own curse. Saktri was taken to heaven because of his own actions. No Rakshasa was capable of causing Saktri's demise; he himself ordained it. And, O Parasara, Viswamitra was merely an instrument in that incident. Both Saktri and Kalmashapada, having ascended to heaven, are now enjoying great happiness.' ।। 1-172-12 ।।
