कच चित तातापविघ्नं ते कच चिन नन्दसि पुत्रक अजानताम अदॊषाणां सर्वेषां रक्षसां वधात ॥ १-१७२-११ ॥

'There is no hindrance, I hope, to this sacrifice of yours, O child! Do you take any delight, O child, in the slaughter of all those innocent Rakshasas who are unaware of your father's demise?' ॥ 1-172-11 ॥

english translation

kaca cita tAtApavighnaM te kaca cina nandasi putraka ajAnatAma adòSANAM sarveSAM rakSasAM vadhAta ॥ 1-172-11 ॥
