तेन चक्षूंषि वस तात नूनं कॊपान महात्मना समरता निहतान बन्धून आदत्तानि न संशयः ॥ १-१७०-२ ॥
'Therefore, those eyes, dear son, have certainly been taken on by the great-souled one out of anger, without a doubt, to look upon his slain and consumed kinsmen.' ॥ 1-170-2 ॥
