स एवम उक्तॊ दुःखार्तः सत्यवाग ऋषिसत्तमः सर्वलॊकविनाशाय मतिं चक्रे महामनाः ।। १-१६९-९ ।।

sanskrit

'Upon hearing his mother's words, the best of sages, known for his truthful speech, initially succumbed to sorrow, but soon thereafter, he became resolute and determined to destroy the entire creation.' ।। 1-169-9 ।।

english translation

sa evama uktò duHkhArtaH satyavAga RSisattamaH sarvalòkavinAzAya matiM cakre mahAmanAH || 1-169-9 ||
