ततः स पुनर एवर्षिर नदीं हैमवतीं तदा चण्डग्राहवतीं दृष्ट्वा तस्याः सरॊतस्य अवापतत ॥ १-१६७-८ ॥

'Upon encountering the formidable river Haimavati, teeming with ferocious crocodiles and other aquatic creatures, once again, the sage threw himself into its depths.' ॥ 1-167-8 ॥

english translation

tataH sa punara evarSira nadIM haimavatIM tadA caNDagrAhavatIM dRSTvA tasyAH saròtasya avApatata ॥ 1-167-8 ॥
