स तु राजा महात्मानं वासिष्ठम ऋषिसात्तमम तृषार्तश च कषुधार्तश च एकायनगतः पथि ।। १-१६६-३ ।।

sanskrit

'As the monarch, afflicted with hunger and thirst, made his way through the woods, he encountered the illustrious son of Vasishtha, that most revered of Rishis, traveling along the same path.' ।। 1-166-3 ।।

english translation

sa tu rAjA mahAtmAnaM vAsiSThama RSisAttamama tRSArtaza ca kaSudhArtaza ca ekAyanagataH pathi || 1-166-3 ||
