[बर] स विनिश्चित्य मनसा पाञ्चाल्यं परति बुद्धिमान जगाम कुरुमुख्यानां नगरं नागसाह्वयम ॥ १-१५४-१६ ॥

'The Brahmana continued, 'Drona, endowed with great intelligence, was deeply aggrieved by this. Determined to find a way to humble the king of Panchala, he set his mind on a plan and went to the capital of the Kurus, a city named after an elephant.'' ॥ 1-154-16 ॥

[bara] sa vinizcitya manasA pAJcAlyaM parati buddhimAna jagAma kurumukhyAnAM nagaraM nAgasAhvayama ॥ 1-154-16 ॥
