आत्मा पुत्रः सखा भार्या कृच्छ्रं तु दुहिता किल स कृच्छ्रान मॊचयात्मानं मां च धर्मेण यॊजय ॥ १-१४७-११ ॥

'The son is like one's own self, the wife is like a friend, but the daughter is deemed troublesome. Therefore, save yourself by eliminating this source of trouble, and in doing so, guide me onto the path of virtue.' ॥ 1-147-11 ॥
