परबॊधयैनान संसुप्तान मातरं च परंतप सर्वान एव गमिष्यामि गृहीत्वा वॊ विहायसा ॥ १-१४०-६ ॥
'O vanquisher of enemies, awaken them and your mother who rest peacefully. I will carry all of you on my body and transport you through the skies.' ॥ 1-140-6 ॥
english translation
[भम] मा भैस तवं विपुलश्रॊणिनैष कश चिन मयि सथिते अहम एनं हनिष्यामि परेक्षन्त्यास ते सुमध्यमे ॥ १-१४०-७ ॥
'Bhima then said, "O you of fair hips, fear not. As long as I am here, no Rakshasa can harm anyone. O you of slender waist, I will protect you all."' ॥ 1-140-7 ॥

नायं परतिबलॊ भीरु राक्षसापसदॊ मम सॊढुं युधि परिस्पन्दम अथ वा सर्वराक्षसाः ॥ १-१४०-९ ॥
'I will slay this cannibal before your very eyes. This worst of Rakshasas, O timid one, is no match for me. None of the Rakshasas together can withstand the strength of my arms.' ॥ 1-140-9 ॥
english translation
पश्य बाहू सुवृत्तौ मे हस्तिहस्तनिभाव इमौ ऊरू परिघसंकाशौ संहतं चाप्य उरॊ मम ॥ १-१४०-९ ॥
'Behold my strong arms, each like the trunk of an elephant. Observe my thighs, resembling iron maces, and my broad, adamantine chest.' ॥ 1-140-9 ॥
english translation
विक्रमं मे यथेन्द्रस्य साद्य दरक्ष्यसि शॊभने मावमंस्थाः पृथुश्रॊणिमत्वा माम इह मानुषम ॥ १-१४०-१० ॥
'O beautiful one, today you shall witness my prowess, comparable to that of Indra. O fair-hipped one, do not underestimate me, thinking I am merely a man.' ॥ 1-140-10 ॥
