परवादितैश च वादित्रैर जनकौतूहलेन च महार्णव इव कषुब्धः समाजः सॊ ऽभवत तदा ॥ १-१२४-१६ ॥
'The anticipation to witness the spectacle was so intense that the vast crowd assembled almost instantly. With the sounds of trumpets, drums, and the buzz of many voices, the massive gathering resembled a turbulent ocean.' ॥ 1-124-16 ॥

paravAditaiza ca vAditraira janakautUhalena ca mahArNava iva kaSubdhaH samAjaH sò 'bhavata tadA ॥ 1-124-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः शुक्लाम्बर धरः शुक्लयज्ञॊपवीतवान शुक्लकेशः सितश्मश्रुः शुक्लमाल्यानुलेपनः ॥ १-१२४-१७ ॥
'Finally, Drona entered the arena accompanied by his son, clad in white attire, adorned with a white sacred thread, white locks, white beard, white garlands, and his body anointed with white sandalwood paste.' ॥ 1-124-17 ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptरङ्गमध्यं तदाचार्यः सपुत्रः परविवेश ह नभॊ जलधरैर हीनं साङ्गारक इवांशुमान ॥ १-१२४-१८ ॥
'The preceptor, along with his son, entered the center of the arena, resembling the sun emerging from behind clouds devoid of rain.' ॥ 1-124-18 ॥

'Upon entering, Bharadwaja performed the appropriate rituals and had Brahmins versed in mantras conduct the auspicious ceremonies.' ॥ 1-124-19 ॥

'After the auspicious and melodious musical instruments were played as part of the propitiatory ceremony, several individuals entered, equipped with various weapons.' ॥ 1-124-20 ॥
