तद वाक्यसमकालं तु बीभत्सुर निशितैः शरैः आवापैः पञ्चभिर गराहं मग्नम अम्भस्य अताडयत इतरे तु विसंमूढास तत्र तत्र परपेदिरे ॥ १-१२३-७१ ॥

sanskrit

'At the very moment he spoke, Arjuna, with five sharp arrows unstoppable in their flight, struck the beast within the water. Meanwhile, the other disciples stood bewildered, rooted to their spots.' ॥ 1-123-71 ॥

english translation

tada vAkyasamakAlaM tu bIbhatsura nizitaiH zaraiH AvApaiH paJcabhira garAhaM magnama ambhasya atADayata itare tu visaMmUDhAsa tatra tatra parapedire ॥ 1-123-71 ॥
