अतिक्रान्त सुखाः कालाः परत्युपस्थित दारुणाः शवः शवः पापीय दिवसाः पृथिवी गतयौवना ॥ १-११९-६ ॥
'Time, which surpasses all joys, is relentlessly advancing, dreadful, day by day, more sinful than the previous ones, for the world is losing its youth.' ॥ 1-119-6 ॥
