तम अकूजम इवाज्ञाय जनौघं सर्वशस तदा भीष्मॊ राज्यं च राष्ट्रं च महर्षिभ्यॊ नयवेदयत ॥ १-११७-१८ ॥
'Then Bhishma, calming that vast assembly, respectfully worshipped those ascetics by offering them water to wash their feet and the customary Arghya. After this, he spoke to them about sovereignty and the kingdom.' ॥ 1-117-18 ॥
