सा तवं माद्रीं पलवेनेव तारयेमाम अनिन्दिते अपत्यसंविभागेन परां कीर्तिम अवाप्नुहि ॥ १-११५-१४ ॥

'Similarly, all royal sages and ascetic Brahmanas have undertaken the most arduous ascetic practices solely for the sake of fame. Therefore, O faultless one, rescue Madri as if by a raft (by providing her with the means to bear children), and attain imperishable glory by making her a mother.' ॥ 1-115-14 ॥

sA tavaM mAdrIM palaveneva tArayemAma anindite apatyasaMvibhAgena parAM kIrtima avApnuhi ॥ 1-115-14 ॥
