तथा राजर्षयः सर्वे बराह्मणाश च तपॊधनाः चक्रुर उच्चावचं कर्म यशसॊ ऽरथाय दुष्करम ॥ १-११५-१३ ॥
'O handsome one, even Brahmanas, well-versed in the Vedas and endowed with great ascetic merit, undertake difficult tasks solely for the sake of fame. They approach their spiritual masters with reverence.' ॥ 1-115-13 ॥
