ततः स वर्ज संघातः कुमारॊ ऽभयपतद गिरौ पतता तेन शतधा शिला गात्रैर विचूर्णिता तां शिलां चूर्णितां दृष्ट्वा पाण्डुर विस्मयम आगमत ॥ १-११४-१३ ॥

'Thereafter, untouched by any obstacle, the young boy fearlessly descended upon the mountain. As he fell, he shattered the stone into a hundred pieces with his limbs. Witnessing the shattered stone, Pandu was filled with wonder.' ॥ 1-114-13 ॥

tataH sa varja saMghAtaH kumArò 'bhayapatada girau patatA tena zatadhA zilA gAtraira vicUrNitA tAM zilAM cUrNitAM dRSTvA pANDura vismayama Agamata ॥ 1-114-13 ॥
