आत्मीये च वरारॊहे शयनीये चतुर्दशीम अष्टमीं वा ऋतुस्नाता संविशेथा मया सह ॥ १-११२-३१ ॥
'Lie down with me on your bed, after the menstrual bath, on the night of the eighth or fourteenth day of the moon.' ॥ 1-112-31 ॥
english translation
एवम उक्ता तु सा देवी तथा चक्रे पतिव्रता यथॊक्तम एव तद वाक्यं भद्रा पुत्रार्थिनी तदा ॥ १-११२-३२ ॥
'Following the instructions of the incorporeal voice, the virtuous Bhadra complied to conceive offspring.' ॥ 1-112-32 ॥
english translation
सा तेन सुषुवे देवी शवेन मनुजाधिप तरीञ शाल्वांश चतुरॊ मद्रान सुतान भरतसत्तम ॥ १-११२-३३ ॥
'And, O bull of the Bharatas, the corpse of her husband begat upon her seven children viz., three Salwas and four Madras.' ॥ 1-112-33 ॥
english translation
तथा तवम अपि मय्य एव मनसा भरतर्षभ शक्तॊ जनयितुं पुत्रांस तपॊयॊगबलान्वयात ॥ १-११२-३४ ॥
'O mighty one among the Bharatas, may you also bestow upon me offspring, emulating the venerable Vyushitaswa, through the utilization of your profound ascetic strength.' ॥ 1-112-34 ॥
