पुष्पेण परयता सनाता निशि कुन्ति चतुष्पथे वरयित्वा दविजं सिद्धं हुत्वा पुंसवने ऽनलम ॥ १-१११-३४ ॥

sanskrit

'Having obtained the divine flower from Surya, O Kunti, while in seclusion and during the night, I invoked the divine sage Durvasa, and having offered the oblation into the sacred fire, I obtained the boon.' ॥ 1-111-34 ॥

english translation

puSpeNa parayatA sanAtA nizi kunti catuSpathe varayitvA davijaM siddhaM hutvA puMsavane 'nalama ॥ 1-111-34 ॥
