याः काश चिज जीवता शक्याः कर्तुम अभ्युदय करियाः ताः सर्वाः समतिक्रम्य निमेषादिष्व अवस्थितः ॥ १-११०-१६ ॥
'All those actions which are conducive to progress and prosperity in life, I shall equally transcend, remaining steadfast amidst momentary occurrences.' ॥ 1-110-16 ॥
english translation
तासु सर्वास्व अवस्थासु तयक्तसर्वेन्द्रियक्रियः संपरित्यक्त धर्मात्मा सुनिर्णिक्तात्म कल्मषः ॥ १-११०-१७ ॥
'Washing my heart of all sins, I shall certainly transcend those sacred rites productive of happiness, that men perform in auspicious moments, days, and periods.' ॥ 1-110-17 ॥
english translation
निर्मुक्तः सर्वपापेभ्यॊ वयतीतः सर्ववागुराः न वशे कस्य चित तिष्ठन सधर्मा मातरिश्वनः ॥ १-११०-१८ ॥
'I will abstain from all religious rituals, worldly pursuits, and sensory pleasures. Freed from all sins and worldly attachments, I will be like the wind, subject to none.' ॥ 1-110-18 ॥
english translation
एतया सततं वृत्त्या चरन्न एवं परकारया देहं संधारयिष्यामि निर्भयं मार्गम आस्थितः ॥ १-११०-१९ ॥
'Following the path of fearlessness and bearing myself in this way I shall at last lay down my life.' ॥ 1-110-19 ॥
english translation
नाहं शवा चरिते मार्गे अवीर्य कृपणॊचिते सवधर्मात सततापेते रमेयं वीर्यवर्जितः ॥ १-११०-२० ॥
'Devoid of the ability to procreate, I shall steadfastly adhere to my righteous path, never deviating to walk the despicable ways of the world, fraught with suffering.' ॥ 1-110-20 ॥
