सर्वभूतहिते काले सर्वभूतेप्सिते तथा कॊ हि विद्वान मृगं हन्याच चरन्तं मैथुनं वने पुरुषार्थ फलं कान्तं यत तवया वितथं कृतम ।। १-१०९-१९ ।।

sanskrit

'What wise and virtuous person would kill a deer while it is engaged in such an act? The time of sexual intercourse is agreeable to every creature and beneficial to all. O king, I was fulfilling my sexual desire with my mate. But you have rendered that effort futile.' ।। 1-109-19 ।।

english translation

sarvabhUtahite kAle sarvabhUtepsite tathA kò hi vidvAna mRgaM hanyAca carantaM maithunaM vane puruSArtha phalaM kAntaM yata tavayA vitathaM kRtama || 1-109-19 ||
