वृत्तेनाराध्य तान सर्वान पतिव्रतपरायणा वाचापि पुरुषान अन्यान सुव्रता नान्वकीर्तयत ॥ १-१०३-१७ ॥
'And Gandhari, ever devoted to her husband, gratified her superiors by her good conduct; and as she was chaste, she never referred even by words to men other than her husband or such superiors.' ॥ 1-103-17 ॥
