उत्तिष्ठन्न अब्रवीद एनाम अभुजिष्या भविष्यसि अयं च ते शुभे गर्भः शरीमान उदरम आगतः धर्मात्मा भविता लॊके सर्वबुद्धिमतां वरः ॥ १-१००-२६ ॥
'Rising in the morning, the sage addressed her, "You shall bear a son who will become a great archer. This fetus in your auspicious womb will be endowed with a strong body. He will be virtuous and esteemed by all the wise in the world."' ॥ 1-100-26 ॥
english translation
uttiSThanna abravIda enAma abhujiSyA bhaviSyasi ayaM ca te zubhe garbhaH zarImAna udarama AgataH dharmAtmA bhavitA lòke sarvabuddhimatAM varaH ॥ 1-100-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस जज्ञे विदुरॊ नाम कृष्णद्वैपायनात्मजः धृतराष्ट्रस्य च भराता पाण्डॊश चामितबुद्धिमान ॥ १-१००-२७ ॥
'And, O king, the son thus begotten upon her by Krishna-Dwaipayana was afterward known by the name of Vidura. He was thus the brother of Dhritarashtra and the illustrious Pandu.' ॥ 1-100-27 ॥

sa jajJe vidurò nAma kRSNadvaipAyanAtmajaH dhRtarASTrasya ca bharAtA pANDòza cAmitabuddhimAna ॥ 1-100-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptधर्मॊ विदुर रूपेण शापात तस्य महात्मनः माण्डव्यस्यार्थ तत्त्वज्ञः कामक्रॊधविवर्जितः ॥ १-१००-२८ ॥
'And Vidura was free from desire and passion and was conversant with the rules of government, and was the god of justice born on earth under the curse of the illustrious Rishi Mandavya.' ॥ 1-100-28 ॥

dharmò vidura rUpeNa zApAta tasya mahAtmanaH mANDavyasyArtha tattvajJaH kAmakròdhavivarjitaH ॥ 1-100-28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस धर्मस्यानृणॊ भूत्वा पुनर मात्रा समेत्य च तस्यै गर्भं समावेद्य तत्रैवान्तरधीयत ॥ १-१००-२९ ॥
'Having thus become indebted to righteousness and reuniting with his mother, Vidura informed her about his conception, which took place then and there.' ॥ 1-100-29 ॥

sa dharmasyAnRNò bhUtvA punara mAtrA sametya ca tasyai garbhaM samAvedya tatraivAntaradhIyata ॥ 1-100-29 ॥

'Thus were born, in the field of Vichitravirya, even of Dwaipayana those sons of the splendor of celestial children, those propagators of the Kuru race.' ॥ 1-100-30 ॥
