धर्मॊ विदुर रूपेण शापात तस्य महात्मनः माण्डव्यस्यार्थ तत्त्वज्ञः कामक्रॊधविवर्जितः ।। १-१००-२८ ।।

sanskrit

'And Vidura was free from desire and passion and was conversant with the rules of government, and was the god of justice born on earth under the curse of the illustrious Rishi Mandavya.' ।। 1-100-28 ।।

english translation

dharmò vidura rUpeNa zApAta tasya mahAtmanaH mANDavyasyArtha tattvajJaH kAmakròdhavivarjitaH || 1-100-28 ||
