विधातृविहितं मार्गं न कश चिद अतिवर्तते कालमूलम इदं सर्वं भावाभावौ सुखासुखे ॥ १-१-१८७ ॥

sanskrit

'No one can deviate from the path ordained by the Creator. Everything in this world has its foundation in time, and the dualities of existence and non-existence are inherent in joy and sorrow.'॥ 1-1-187 ॥

english translation

vidhAtRvihitaM mArgaM na kaza cida ativartate kAlamUlama idaM sarvaM bhAvAbhAvau sukhAsukhe ॥ 1-1-187 ॥
