स वेदान विब्रुवन धीमान मातुर विज्ञाय चिन्तितम परादुर्बभूवाविदितः कषणेन कुरुनन्दन ॥ १-९९-२२ ॥
'O descendant of Kuru, while deeply engaged in expounding the Vedas, the wise Dwaipayana, realizing his mother's contemplation, appeared before her in an instant, unnoticed by others.' ॥ 1-99-22 ॥
