ततस तस्मिन परतिज्ञाते भीष्मेण कुरुनन्दन कृष्णद्वैपायनं काली चिन्तयाम आस वै मुनिम ॥ १-९९-२१ ॥
'When Bhishma uttered these words, O descendant of the Kuru lineage, Satyavati (Kali) summoned the sage Dwaipayana. Even though Dwaipayana was occupied with the interpretation of the Vedas, upon hearing his mother's call, he swiftly appeared before her, unnoticed by anyone.' ॥ 1-99-21 ॥
