इदं तु वचनं सौम्य कार्यं चैव निबॊध मे कौमारिकाणां शीलेन वक्ष्याम्य अहम अरिंदम ॥ १-९४-८२ ॥

sanskrit

'O suppressor of foes, those who have daughters are bound by their duty to speak as I do. O you, steadfast in truth, the pledge you've made for Satyavati's welfare in front of these leaders is indeed befitting your honor.' ॥ 1-94-82 ॥

english translation

idaM tu vacanaM saumya kAryaM caiva nibòdha me kaumArikANAM zIlena vakSyAmya ahama ariMdama ॥ 1-94-82 ॥
