[व] तयैवं समनुज्ञातः पुत्रम आदाय शंतनुः भराजमानं यथादित्यम आययौ सवपुरं परति ।। १-९४-३७ ।।

sanskrit

'He is a formidable archer and well-versed in the interpretation of all treatises on royal duties.' Thus instructed by Ganga, Santanu took his son, radiant like the Sun itself, and returned to his capital.' ।। 1-94-37 ।।

english translation

[va] tayaivaM samanujJAtaH putrama AdAya zaMtanuH bharAjamAnaM yathAdityama Ayayau savapuraM parati || 1-94-37 ||
