सत्येन मे दयौश च वसुंधरा च; तथैवाग्निर जवलते मानुषेषु न मे पृथा वयाहृतम एव वाक्यं; सत्यं हि सन्तः परतिपूजयन्ति सर्वे च देवा मुनयश च लॊकाः; सत्येन पूज्या इति मे मनॊगतम ॥ १-८८-२४ ॥

'The earth and the heavens stand upon my commitment to truth and virtue; even fire continues to ignite in the human realm by the same principles. Not once has a word from me faltered or failed to hold. This unwavering adherence to truth is why the wise hold it in high esteem.' ॥ 1-88-24 ॥

english translation

satyena me dayauza ca vasuMdharA ca; tathaivAgnira javalate mAnuSeSu na me pRthA vayAhRtama eva vAkyaM; satyaM hi santaH paratipUjayanti sarve ca devA munayaza ca lòkAH; satyena pUjyA iti me manògatama ॥ 1-88-24 ॥
