अदाम अहं पृथिवीं बराह्मणेभ्यः; पूर्णाम इमाम अखिलां वाहनस्य गॊभिः सुवर्णेन धनैश च मुख्यैस; तत्रासन गाः शतम अर्बुदानि ॥ १-८८-२३ ॥

'I bestowed the entire earth, filled with all its wealth, to the Brahmanas, along with cows, gold, and the finest of treasures. There, a hundred crores of cows were present.' ॥ 1-88-23 ॥

english translation

adAma ahaM pRthivIM barAhmaNebhyaH; pUrNAma imAma akhilAM vAhanasya gòbhiH suvarNena dhanaiza ca mukhyaisa; tatrAsana gAH zatama arbudAni ॥ 1-88-23 ॥
