[य] यद अन्तरिक्षं पृथिवी दिशश च; यत तेजसा तपते भानुमांश च लॊकास तावन्तॊ दिवि संस्थिता वै; ते नान्तवन्तः परतिपालयन्ति ।। १-८८-२ ।।

sanskrit

'Yayati answered, 'There are as many regions for thee to enjoy in heaven as the number of places in the firmament, the Earth and the ten points of the universe illumined by the Sun.'' ।। 1-88-2 ।।

english translation

[ya] yada antarikSaM pRthivI dizaza ca; yata tejasA tapate bhAnumAMza ca lòkAsa tAvantò divi saMsthitA vai; te nAntavantaH paratipAlayanti || 1-88-2 ||
