[य] परतिकूलं कर्मणां पापम आहुस; तद वर्तते ऽपरवणे पापलॊक्यम सन्तॊ ऽसतां नानुवर्तन्ति चैतद; यथा आत्मैषाम अनुकूल वादी ॥ १-८४-४ ॥
'The evil that is done is said to be contrary to one's interests; it leads to a realm of evil. Those who are virtuous do not engage in it. It is such as this, just as the proponent of their interest.' ॥ 1-84-4 ॥
