[षर] न नर्म युक्तं वचनं हिनस्ति; न सत्रीषु राजन न विवाह काले पराणात्यये सर्वधनापहारे; पञ्चानृतान्य आहुर अपातकानि ।। १-७७-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'Sarmishtha then articulated, "It is acknowledged, O King, that falsehoods are not deemed sinful in instances of jesting, concerning women to be united with, during matrimonial ceremonies, when faced with imminent death, and upon the potential forfeiture of one's entire wealth. On these five occasions, lying is considered pardonable."' ।। 1-77-16 ।।

[Sara] na narma yuktaM vacanaM hinasti; na satrISu rAjana na vivAha kAle parANAtyaye sarvadhanApahAre; paJcAnRtAnya Ahura apAtakAni || 1-77-16 ||
