[व] ततः कन्या सहस्रेण वृता शिबिकया तदा पितुर नियॊगात तवरिता निश्चक्राम पुरॊत्तमात ॥ १-७५-१९ ॥

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana continued, 'Commanded by her father, then, Sarmishtha, accompanied by a thousand maidens, soon came, in a palanquin, out of her father's excellent mansion.' ॥ 1-75-19 ॥

english translation

[va] tataH kanyA sahasreNa vRtA zibikayA tadA pitura niyògAta tavaritA nizcakrAma puròttamAta ॥ 1-75-19 ॥
