यः समुत्पतितं करॊधं निगृह्णाति हयं यथा स यन्तेत्य उच्यते सद्भिर न यॊ रश्मिषु लम्बते ॥ १-७४-२ ॥

sanskrit

'He who restrains his rising anger, like a horse held back from dashing forward, is called wise. He does not get entangled in the rays of the sun.' ॥ 1-74-2 ॥

english translation

yaH samutpatitaM karòdhaM nigRhNAti hayaM yathA sa yantetya ucyate sadbhira na yò razmiSu lambate ॥ 1-74-2 ॥
