[व] ततः संजीवनीं विद्यां परयुज्य कचम आह्वयत आहूतः परादुरभवत कचॊ ऽरिष्टॊ ऽथ विद्यया हतॊ ऽहम इति चाचख्यौ पृष्टॊ बराह्मण कन्यया ॥ १-७१-३१ ॥
'Then, employing the knowledge to revive the dead, Sukra called upon Kacha. Summoned by his preceptor, Kacha emerged, his spirit reanimated and freed from the bodies of the wolves (that had consumed him), buoyed by the potent science of his mentor.' ॥ 1-71-31 ॥
english translation
स पुनर देव यान्यॊक्तः पुष्पाहारॊ यदृच्छया वनं ययौ ततॊ विप्र ददृशुर दानवाश च तम ॥ १-७१-३२ ॥
'Upon being instructed by Devayani, he offered flowers and spontaneously headed towards the forest. There, the Brahmana and the Danavas saw him.' ॥ 1-71-32 ॥
english translation
ततॊ दवितीयं हत्वा तं दग्ध्वा कृत्वा च चूर्णशः परायच्छन बराह्मणायैव सुरायाम असुरास तदा ॥ १-७१-३३ ॥
'Then, for the second time, having slain him, they burned him, reduced him to ashes, and mixed those ashes into the wine of a Brahmana, which the Asuras then offered.' ॥ 1-71-33 ॥
english translation
देव यान्य अथ भूयॊ ऽपि वाक्यं पितरम अब्रवीत पुष्पाहारः परेषणकृत कचस तात न दृश्यते ॥ १-७१-३४ ॥
'Once again, Devayani addressed her father, Sukra, saying, "Father, Kacha was sent to gather flowers, but he has not returned. It seems he has been lost or has perished. I truly declare, I cannot live without him."' ॥ 1-71-34 ॥

[षुक्र] बृहस्पतेः सुतः पुत्रि कचः परेतगतिं गतः विद्यया जीवितॊ ऽपय एवं हन्यते करवाणि किम ॥ १-७१-३५ ॥
'Upon hearing this, Sukra responded, "My daughter, the son of Vrihaspati, Kacha, has journeyed to the realm of the departed. Despite being revived by my knowledge, he faces repeated deaths. What action, then, should I take?"' ॥ 1-71-35 ॥
