अतॊ हास्यतरं लॊके किं चिद अन्यन न विद्यते इदं दुर्जन इत्य आह दुर्जनः सज्जनं सवयम ।। १-६९-१४ ।।

sanskrit

'The wicked consistently speak ill of the upright. However, the virtuous refrain from harming them, even when wronged. What could be more absurd in the world than those who are inherently wicked portraying the genuinely honest as wrongdoers?' ।। 1-69-14 ।।

english translation

atò hAsyataraM lòke kiM cida anyana na vidyate idaM durjana itya Aha durjanaH sajjanaM savayama || 1-69-14 ||
