कामं तु मे मारुतस तत्र वासः; परक्रीडिताया विवृणॊतु देव भवेच च मे मन्मथस तत्र कार्ये; सहायभूतस तव देवप्रसादात ॥ १-६५-४१ ॥
'I think that when I begin to play before the Rishi, Marut (the god of wind) had better go there and rob me of my dress, and Manmatha (the god of love) had also, at thy command, better help me then.' ॥ 1-65-41 ॥
english translation
kAmaM tu me mArutasa tatra vAsaH; parakrIDitAyA vivRNòtu deva bhaveca ca me manmathasa tatra kArye; sahAyabhUtasa tava devaprasAdAta ॥ 1-65-41 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवनाच च वायुः सुरभिः परवायेत; तस्मिन काले तम ऋषिं लॊभयन्त्याः तथेत्य उक्त्वा विहिते चैव तस्मिंस; ततॊ ययौ साश्रमं कौशिकस्य ॥ १-६५-४२ ॥
'Let also Marut on that occasion bear thither fragrance from the woods to tempt the Rishi.' Saying this and seeing that all she had spoken about had been duly provided, Menaka went to the retreat of the great Kausika.' ॥ 1-65-42 ॥
english translation
vanAca ca vAyuH surabhiH paravAyeta; tasmina kAle tama RSiM lòbhayantyAH tathetya uktvA vihite caiva tasmiMsa; tatò yayau sAzramaM kauzikasya ॥ 1-65-42 ॥
